In the beginning, Sabino's Home Improvement, only accepted vinyl siding projects. After a year, the company also worked on windows and roofing projects. With some more experience, Sabino's Home Improvement, expanded into kitchens and bathrooms. By 1992, the company had reached the peak of its output, performing all home improvements including large additions. The company employed four crews constituting 15 people installing material six days a week, 10 months a year. This is what Bill Sabino thought he needed in order to be successful: lots of crews, lots of work, and lots of projects. But when he looked back at his receipts, he realized he wasn't making any money. His crews were working constantly, but they rarely completed a job to Bill's high expectations unless he worked on the project himself. He couldn't be in four places at once, so jobs often had to be done twice to ensure that they were done properly. Bill could not run a successful company this way, so in 1993 he scaled back his operations and fired everyone except his three most trustworthy guys. In 1995,
